Ocean Free & Ocean Freedom supporting community

Well done to the Cairns Regional Council for organising the “St Vinnies CEO and Community Sleepout” 23rd June 2022. – all the funds raised staying local to assist those in need in the Cairns Region.

Ocean Free & Ocean Freedom , along with other hospitality, tourism and local businesses donated prizes to be raffled on the day.

This is just one of numerous community prize donations Ocean Free & Ocean Freedom has supported throughout our 26 years of operations.

We are proud to say that, even during our toughest few years since the onset of our business over 26 years ago, Ocean Free & Ocean Freedom has donated, just in prize donations, the equivalent of :

January 2021- Dec 2021 : $6,540

January 2022 – to date June 2022 : $4510

The sum of many small gestures by us and our fellow like-minded businesses culminating in a bigger “pot” for positive changes for the future.

All this has been towards various local charities, school events, local sailing events. We are proud to give back to our community and have always supported “Locals supporting locals” with also over 90% of our operational flow on services going to local family owned and operated businesses.

Our little bit towards a healthier and happier Cairns community.
